Before you clean

cleaningan entireroom.

Vacuumareawith a dry vacuumcleaner

beforecleaning

Planyour cleaning routeto leavean exit

path. It is bestto begincleaningthe corner

farthest from yourexit

Fill the clean/solution tank

Removethe clean/solutionfromthe baseof the

machineby pullingupandoutfromthe back.

Youcanalsodetentthe handleandpull the

tank straightup if youdesire.

Unscrewthe blackcapandredinsert,Remove.

Fillthetankupto the FILLLINEwithhot

tap water.

Add 3 ounces of formula (Alwaysuse

genuineBISSELLformulasto maximize

cleaningandfor the safetyof your machine).

OR If using a BISSELL3X Concentrate

add 1 ounceof formula.

Replacethe cap and insert andtighten by

turning clockwise.

Replacethe clean/solutiontank back into the

machine.Be sure that the cap is seatedin

the receiver.

Carpetcleaning

1. Makesure the ReadyToolsDialis in the

FLOORCLEANINGposition.

2. Plugthe PROdryinto the properoutletand

turn the powerON( I ) usingthe switch inthe

back.

Withyourfoot, pressthe gray handlerelease

leverlocated onthe backof

the unit.Takecareto noticethe waythe

machinefloats forward.

Whilepressingthe spraytrigger make 1

forward wet passand another1 back.

Repeatonce and moveonto the next

sectionof carpet or arearug to becleaned.

Takecare notto run over looseobjectsof

the edgesof arearugs.
